Water safety/Swimming class.
On Wednesday the children watched a PAWS webinar about water safety from 9.30-10.30am.
The water safety webinar had lots of new facts such as the fact of how many children drown every 10 years and that you should swim with at least 3 people present. It was very interesting to know how to treat a jellyfish sting. The children learned about the different flags to be aware of on beaches and water ways. Also, emergency numbers to know in the case of an emergency 112 or 999. So “don’t forget to Stay Safe this summer”!!!
After the webinar we went to Coral Leisure Centre for our swimming class to finish off our day.
