Trevor Cummins a local running coach in Cobh called to our school and had a chat with the teachers about a primary level, inter schools’ cross country running event which he organised for Wednesday February 7th in Cuskinny Court in Cobh. Five other local schools also took part in the event. This daylong event was for boys and girls. The day began at 10:00am. and finished at 2.30pm. Transport to and from the event was provided for the children attending the event. Also, transport was provided for parents to enable them to attend the event. The children who represented our school enjoyed the day and took part in the running events for their ages. The Cross-Country event was very successfully planned, and we look forward to next year. Well done to all the organisers involved.
