During our recent visit from the Heritage Council, the children created a wonderful Applique Wall Hanging made from cotton pictures of animals that the children drew and attached these pictures on to a hessian fabric. They also weaved wool into the hessian and created individual frames for each of their pictures. The finished product resulted in a beautiful wall hanging and is displayed in the school hall.
We are looking forward to visiting the Crawford Art Gallery in June this year to take part in a guided tour of two exhibitions to continue our appreciation of the Arts.
