The school has been taking part in the GROW at School which is a food educational programme that aims to increase food literacy in primary schools. Through garden-based learning and hands-on-growing experiences, the programme helps students develop a deeper understanding of where healthy, sustainable food comes from. The children had great fun filling the garden boxes with soil, they filled their buckets with the soil and made a human chain to pass the buckets along until it reached the garden boxes. After that they began the planting process and then the labeling of each plant. A variety of plants were planted such as green beans, beetroot, potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, salad leaves, radishes, and peas.
