On Friday 24th the children came to school all excited and dressed up in amazing Halloween costumes. Our dress-up day was also our fundraising day for the Great Island First Responders. Many thanks to the parents/staff of Cobh Mixed N.S who so kindly donated to this worthy cause.
The children also made their own masks from kitchen paper, glue and Vaseline. Each week we layered the mask in kitchen paper to create our scary faces. Lastly the children painted their own masks.
The children also celebrated Halloween with the Halloween Active School P.E stations in the school hall. We had great fun with games and treats enjoyed by the children as part of our Active Schools programme. Well done and Happy Halloween to everyone!!!
