1st Visit : On Wednesday 13th September we had a visit from the Heritage Council. Mary Barry from the School Heritage introduced us to Hedgerows – a bountiful harvest project. This involved the making of Blackberry jam and Rosehip cordial, followed by a nature walk looking at and identifying fruits and berries, food chains, birds and animals. It all finished off with Blackberry Jam and Rosehip Cordial tasting which was enjoyed by everyone.
