On the 22nd of September the school had a visit from the Heritage Council with Mary Barry. The workshop was on Autumn trees, fruits, berries and use the theme for fabric and fibre, mainly concentrating on linen and making inks and dyes. The children created their own tapestry with the dried linen fabric where they decorated a cotton square border using buttons, ribbons and sequins. The finished product was putting all the squares together to form a beautiful tapestry which is now hanging on the wall of the school.
