May 2022 Junior Litter Pickers:
During the month of May, the children from Cobh Mixed N.S were invited by the Litter Warden for Cobh, Clodagh Meade, to take part in a project for students called Junior Litter Pickers.
The litter warden came to the school to give a talk about the project to the students and teachers and brought the children to a badly littered area of Cobh. High vis vests, litter pickers and bags were provided for everyone. The children enjoyed the activity and learned about the importance of not littering and having respect for the town we live in.
