We celebrated Maths Week by having a very enjoyable day spent on maths activities.
Our first activity was to design a ‘Figure Me Out ‘poster in which the children had to think about numbers in their lives. The children made posters to use numbers to describe themselves – for example how many letters in my name, my age – 6+2 etc. The finished posters were magnificent, and prizes were awarded to 4 outstanding entries.
After lunch the children played Maths board games. The most popular games were ‘Monopoly’, ‘Snakes & Ladders’ Dino Tracks’ and card games.
