Cork County Council and Creative Ireland in conjunction with Cruinniú na nÓg had a competion for schools with the topic ‘Creative Wish’. We are delighted to announce that our student from 2nd class was one of eight winners. The prize was to secure six creative workshops for himself and the school, where an Art teacher would visit the school for six weeks to teach Art to the children. The children are preparing artwork for an exhibition of their work in the school hall in June. Here are some images of the artwork created.
