Welcome to Cobh Mixed National School Website

We are a 3 teacher school with classes ranging from Infants to 6th class. We have a full time SEN Teacher based in our School. Our classes are small, and pupils gain individual attention. The school is funded by the Department of Education.
At Cobh Mixed National School, we endeavour to create a well-functioning, happy safe environment which promotes the dignity and individuality of every pupil, enabling them to reach their full potential, cognitive, intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual. We aim to educate the whole child in a Christian atmosphere in partnership with parents/guardians and the wider community.

STEM activities

As part of STEM, we put together kits from STEMWIZZ. We put together mini jeeps from wood, plastic and metal. We also attached a battery and motor so it can move without assistance. Some of the jeeps went backwards and some worked perfectly.
