Physical Activity:
- Do Your Talking As You’re Walking: We have introduced this initiative into our playground and have created posters around the school to remind pupils to keep active even when they are chatting.
- Playground Leaders: We have introduced play ground leaders from each class each week who decide which games to play and which equipment to be used for that week.
- Equipment Monitors: These monitors are in charge of taking out and packing up the P.E. equipment every day at each break-time.
- Active Line Leaders: Each week the leaders encourage their line to keep active and keep moving in their line.
- Active Breaks: All classes take part in active breaks throughout the school day. This includes Go-Noodle, Super Trooper Activities and other classroom movement activities.
- Halloween Circuit Cards: Our school incorporates physical activity into annual calendar events throughout the school year.
