Since we got back to school after Christmas the Senior room has been very busy getting ready for their dramatic recitation and enactment of the atmospheric poem ‘The Key to the Castle’. They have been learning the poem and how they could all recite the poem at the same time, listening to each other so they are all going at the same pace. Then they made a castle and spooky pictures and found props to help them act out the words of the poem. It was great fun, and they really enjoyed practicing. They then did their performance for the children in the Junior Room. They thought the Juniors really enjoyed watching them too.
