Before we went on our school tour to the Titanic Experience in Cobh the school came together to learn all about the Titanic. We watched a Power Point presentation which revealed lots of facts about the Titanic, some of which we did not know already.
Some children brought in their own Titanic information, and the children found this very interesting looking at old photos of the Titanic and Cobh the last port of call. They saw familiar buildings from Cobh at that time in 1912 and compared it with Cobh today in 2025.
The children watched a virtual video of the Titanic in its full glory, they got to see the amazing staircases, dining rooms, galleys, cabins, and every inch of the Titanic. It was amazing. The children took part in a Titanic quiz where the children were put into teams and answered questions about the Titanic.
