WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

School Re-opening:

Cobh Mixed National School re-opened on Thursday 27th August 2020 after it closed its doors on March 12th, 2020. Our school is one of the smaller schools in the area and therefore have a smaller ratio of pupils, this fortunately enables us to maintain social distancing without difficulty.

The teachers and staff of Cobh Mixed National School are very aware of all the concerns parents and pupils may have with returning to school. We know it is a worrying time for you all and for that reason we would like to reassure parents/guardians that the safety and wellbeing of all our students will always be of the upmost priority to us.

We would like to assure parents also that teachers and staff will be on hand to discuss any queries or concerns that you may have at present and throughout the year and we are looking forward to having a different in some ways, but also a very rewarding school year ahead.

We would like to congratulate all our pupils on doing such a good job implementing the guidelines for Covid19 on returning to school. They have followed all advice given to them and we couldn’t be
more proud of them all. Well done everybody!!!

We would also like to thank all parents for their co-operation with the implementing of the Department regulations on the re-opening of the school and with their continued support we will all get through this trying time.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new students to the school and hope they are settling in and enjoying school time.

Please be assured that if parents/guardians have any concerns they can contact the school during school hours on 021 4811755 and Valerie will be available to take any calls to address concerns during out of school hours by contacting her on 086 3777801.

Yours sincerely,
Valerie.
