At Cobh Mixed N.S we celebrated World Book Day on Wednesday 24th February by asking all the children to take a photo of themselves reading a book in an unusual place. To celebrate the day every child received a World Book Day Book and a special treat of an Easter Egg. As you can see from the photos the unusual places proved to be very funny. It was a great day with lots of fun and the children took part in activities such as a whole schoolbook quiz which involved the children having to name a particular character from a fairy tale book. The children also drew a selfie of themselves with their favourite book character.
